Submission Guidelines

Interested in submitting a piece to the Imperial & Global Forum? Email us at cigh.exeter@gmail.com. Our posts seek to provide imperial and global historical context to modern controversies, bridging the past with the present. We also welcome cutting-edge historiographical essays and book reviews on new global and imperial scholarship. Submissions should normally fall between 700-1500 words, written in accessible language for a general audience, and with your argument clearly laid out in your first paragraph. The Forum is a space for constructive dialogue and welcomes submissions written in the spirit of collegial intellectual inquiry and engagement.
